                   I can’t believe we are entering our final month of preschool.  Your children have grown so much this year and were truly a pleasure to work with.   Thank you to our room parents Wendy Moeller  and Mary Kasprick for all their work in planning our parties, the carnival and auction!  Also thank you to Rhoda Sloman for her help with cutting out so many of the projects we created in class! 

            We will start our month with May Day and then create a camp site right in class!  Our second week we will be preparing for our special Mother’s Day Tea.  The tea is a party for you and your child, if you can arrange for a sitter for younger siblings it makes it a special “one-on-one” time (OR two-on-one for you TWIN moms! J).  Our tea will be the last half-hour of class from 11:15-11:45!

Our farm unit will lead us into our field trip to Jubilee Farms on Tuesday, May 15th.  We will meet AT JUBILEE FARMS at 9:50 for our tour at 10:00.  The address is 229 West Snoqualmie River Road NE, Carnation 98014.  There are specific directions on their web site: www.jubileefarm.org/directions
Make sure you allow plenty of time to drive to Jubilee and it is a full 2 ½ tour, sometimes a little past the time, from what I have been told!  It can be very muddy, so make sure and dress appropriately.  Also we will go on a “hay ride”, so if your child has allergies to this we would want to know ahead of time.  I have heard this is a top-notch trip, not to be missed!

            We will end the month with father’s day, strawberries, and summer fun.  We hope you will join us on our last day, Thursday, May 24th at 11:15 to end the year with a small party!

All Month:  Watch for your child’s sharing day!  We will have our last sharing on Monday, May 21st.

5/15: Jubilee Farms Field Trip: MEET AT JUBILEE AT 9:50 AM.
5/24: Our last day of school, join us to celebrate the end of the year at 11:15!
