May calendar news for our 3+ Voss/Chiles/Olson class

May 2nd we are making Mayday baskets to take home and put on your door. Please have your student bring in a small bunch of flowers from your yard to fill the baskets. (Dandelions work great and other greens you may have growing)

May 3 we prepare to have our guests arrive for tea on Thursday at school.

May 5 please join us at school for tea with your students at 11:00 am.

May 9 All about different kinds of farms and what we may see at one.

May 10 The class will be meeting at Jubilee Farms in Carnation please be on time as our appointment for our tour is at 10:00 am. Let me know if you have questions about this trip.

May 12 reading the fun book Shoo fly shoo!! And of course painting with fly swatters to go along with the story.

May 16 All sorts of critters live in and around the pond and creek.

May 17 we will take a ride on the Metro bus to Juanita Bay to fly our paper airplanes and enjoy the sights of the bay. We will leave by 9:45 and return to school by 11:20 so plenty of time for regular pick up at school.

May 19 we discover the way to move things with wheels or not.

May 23 we love our fathers too and will be finishing up a project to take home for them.

May 24 is our last day of school and we’ve had lots and lots of fun. Please join us for our last circle time before we head out for summer vacation at 11:30 am what a great year together.
