May fun in Mrs. Lisa, Mrs. Winter, and Mrs. F’s 3’s Classroom:

I can not believe the school year is almost over. We have lots of fun things planned for May…..

We will start off the month of May getting ready for our Mother’s Day Tea Party!  Our tea party (iced tea) will be on Thursday, May 6th at 11:00.  Moms, please try to be there or have someone else special there to share this fun time with your child.  Also, if you can, please try to make other arrangements for siblings.  Thanks!
 
Next we will all meet at Jubilee Farm in Carnation to complement our learning about farms and farm animals.  This is a very fun field trip!  Farmer Eric’s enthusiasm for his vocation will have you wanting to leave your urban life behind and become a farmer right then and there!! 

We’ll finish out the month making sand castles and a little something for Dad for Father’s Day.  We also have a day planned for some fun in the sun. (Hopefully we have some sun to play in!) And we will finally complete and take home our very own counting books that we have been working on for the last several months!

On Tuesday May 25th, we will have our last day of school (sniff, sniff).  Please join us in our classroom at 11:00 for our End of Year party and send-off to summer. Please let me know ahead of time if your child will not be able to make it to the last day/party.  It has been an amazing year and I feel so blessed to have had the chance to see your children grow over the course of the year!! What a gift to be a part of it!
