Dear Parents,
Here’s what’s going on in our classroom for the month of February.

This month we will be going to see the play The Frog Prince on Friday Feb.3  at the Kirkland Performing Arts Center.  Class will start at regular time and we will then walk to Kirkland Performing Arts Center.  We’ll walk back to school after the play and have a snack and outside play.

We will also discuss the weather and how the ground hog plays a part in our abilities to predict when spring will come.  Look for some cute and fuzzy ground hogs in your preschool bags.

Zoophonics will be P P Wee Penguin and Q Quacky Quacker this month!

We have no letter of the week during Valentine’s week, as we will review and practice our writing skills by writing Valentine words on cards to our loved ones.  We will find fun ways to practice our grouping and math skills.  Did you know that Smarties come in 4 pastel shades?  How many are in a package?  Let’s group all the purple ones together and count them.  What happens if I take away (eat!) two? 

Please enjoy your mid-winter break during the week of February 20st.  We will have no school that week.

Last we will have fun with fairy tales this month!
