Welcome to Mrs. Grudt, Mrs. Gardner & Mrs. Fothergill's 4's Classroom In the Classroom In the ClassroomLove is in the Air! This month we’ll talk about all the “gooshy” stuff that goes along with Valentine’s Day.
Other InfoField Trip to the Kirkland Performance Center to see The Frog Prince. We will be talking about the difference between a movie and live theater (no snacks for one) and we’ll also talk about nice manners for seeing a play. We’ll also go over the plot and how it’s just people acting up there on stage. If your child is apprehensive about any aspect of the play, please let me know in advance. Valentine’s: It is much easier for the children to distribute valentines when there are no names on the envelope. If you do chose to put a “to” on the front of the envelope, please plan on helping your child put the valentine into the right container on February 13. Please send in a picture of something or someone the kids love no later than Monday, February 6. We will be using these for our “We Love” wall. You will get the pictures back unharmed. Clay Makers: Swanger (Pawelke) on February 13 VIP Days: Alex Holk on February 15; Jason Zhu on February 17
Ideas for At HomePut writing utensil into the kids’ hands! Give them lots of paper in different colors and sizes, with lines and without. Let them write and draw. If they want to know how to spell something write it for them and have them copy it down. And always, always, always have them write their own name.
