In the Classroom
We are winding down the school year with more fun and learning in the Pre-K classroom of Mrs. Fenelon, Mrs. Schwientek, and Mrs. Portugal!
We will start out the month getting ready for our Mother’s Day Tea Party! This event will take place in our Pre-K classroom on Thursday, May 5th at 2:30. Moms, please try to come or have someone else special be there to share this fun event with your child. Since this is such a special time with your Preschooler, please try your hardest to make other arrangements for siblings. Thanks!
During the last few weeks of school we will continue to have fun and explore a variety of themes. We will learn about wind and weather, make kites, explore (and eat!) dirt and worms, have some circus fun and beach fun, and much more!
On Monday, May 16th, a school bus from the Lake Washington School District will come to our school! We will learn about school bus safety and go for a ride! Please remember to see Mrs. Portugal to sign a permission slip the week before.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Our last day of class will be Tuesday,
May 24th. Please join us in our classroom at 2:30 to celebrate our wonderful year with a Good-bye Party. It has truly been a joy getting to know your children and watching them grow this year!
Some important dates to remember:
- Thursday, May 5th: Mother’s Day Tea Party at 2:30.
- Monday, May 16th: The school bus comes to our school to give us a ride!
- Tuesday, May 24th: Last Day of School and Good-bye Party at 2:30 in our classroom
