Arriving at St. John's Preschool

St. John’s Preschool was established in downtown Kirkland in 1974 and has been in operation ever since. Our main goal is to make preschool a “fun” experience for children so that when they are older, they will remember school as a fun and positive place to be. Your child will learn many things while they are with us, although we don’t consider ourselves an "academic" preschool. When asked to describe our school we often say, “We don’t take ourselves too seriously”. We pride ourselves on our family atmosphere where we feel we take care of the whole family, parents and siblings as well as the students.

St. John’s is part of St. John's Episcopal Church and is a Christian preschool. We accept children of all faith backgrounds to our school.ter

If you haven’t already done so please return the registration form that was sent home or visit our website to print a registration form. Please return your form and $80 registration fee (per child). Here are some things to know: Registration for current families NEEDS to be done by Wednesday the Feb 8th If you are not returning it would be nice of you to let me know If you are interested in Science, but don’t know if you have half or full – am or pm – go ahead and register so I know you’re interested CARNIVAL AND AUCTION: Two major events will be taking place in March and April. Please mark your calendars for our annual Carnival which will take place on Saturday March 3rd from 1-4 here at St. John’s. Our annual Auction will take place on Saturday April 21st in the evening also here at St. John’s. More information about both events and procurement forms will be coming home mid January. CASPER BABYPANTS: Please join us on Friday February 3rd 6:20 pm at Kirkland Jr High. MID-WINTER BREAK: We will be taking mid-winter break the week of February 20-24. Not all schools have the entire week off, but we chose to do so when we set our calendar last June.
