REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR 2008 – 2009 SCHOOL YEAR

Registration for St. John’s Preschool will begin on Thursday, January 3, 2008.

KEY REGISTRATION DATES

  • Thursday, January 3, 2008 – Online registration begins. Prospective families may call to schedule school tours.
  • Tuesday, February 5 - Friday, February 8, 2008 – St. John’s begins contacting current families to confirm whether they have registered for next school year.
  • Friday, February 8, 2008 – All applications due. (For current, alumni, church member families, as well as new applicants.)
  • Friday, February 15, 2008 – St. John’s mails letters to all applicants confirming admission status.
  • Monday, March 3, 2008 - $ 80 registration fee due to confirm enrollment for 2008 – 2009 school year.
  • June 1, 2008 - School fees and September tuition are due.

REGISTRATION OVERVIEW

We will begin the registration process for the 2008 - 2009 school year on Thursday, January 3, 2008. Applications are due no later than Friday, February 8, 2008. Between Tuesday, February 5, 2008, and Friday, February 8, 2008, we will check with our current families to make sure they have registered for next year. On Friday, February 8, 2008, we will begin to fill classes based on the applications we have received. If we have more applicants than we have room, we will draw names. Letters will be mailed to all applicants on Friday, February 15, 2008 to communicate admission status. Those who will be joining us in the fall are requested to return a $ 80 registration fee by Monday, March 3, 2008. September's tuition and school fees are due by June 1, 2008.

HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR ST. JOHN’S PRESCHOOL?

Prospective Families

Schedule a Tour
Beginning Thursday, January 3 2008, prospective families may call to schedule a tour of the school. Tours begin at 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM for morning classes, and 1:00 PM for afternoon classes and last 20 to 30 minutes. Children are welcome to participate. Please try to be prompt. If you are running late, please join the group on tour. We will fill-in any information you missed at the end of the tour. Thank you for your cooperation, it is difficult to catch you up during the tour.

Submit a Registration Form
After your school tour, you may submit a registration form. If you are unable to register on-line, you may download a copy from the website or ask for a hardcopy. You may submit your completed registration form any time until end of the day on Friday, February 8, 2008. If you are a new applicant, please do not pay the registration fee until we confirm your admission. Online registration is now closed; however, you may call 425-822-5079 for further registration assistance.

Admission Notification
Between Tuesday, February 5, and Friday, February 8, 2008, we will check with our current families to make sure they have registered for next year. On Friday, February 8, 2008, we will begin to fill classes based on the applications we have received. If we have more applicants than we have room, we will draw names. Letters will be mailed to all applicants on Friday, February 15, 2008, to communicate admission status. If you do not receive a spot on our class rosters, we will place you on a wait list. There is usually some movement on the rosters, but the number of openings varies from year to year.

Confirm Your Enrollment
Those who will be joining us in the Fall will need to return a $ 80 registration fee by Monday, March 3, 2008. September's tuition and the year's fees are both due by June 1, 2008.

Registration Process for Current, Alumni and Church Member Families

Submit a Registration Form

Online registration is now closed. Please call 425-822-5079 if you need registration assistance.

Between Thursday, January 3, and Friday, February 8, 2008, current, alumni, and church member families may register their children for the 2008 - 2009 school year.

If you are unable to register on-line, you may download a copy from the website or ask for a hardcopy. You may submit your completed registration form any time until end of the day on Friday, February 8, 2008.

Admission Notification
All current, alumni, and church member families are guaranteed a position in the preschool. If your child is not placed in your first choice class, they will be placed in your second choice. If you currently have children enrolled in the preschool, you will be notified in the March parent letter packet of your child’s class day and time for the next school year.

Confirm Your Enrollment
Those who will be joining us in the Fall will need to return a $ 80 registration fee by Monday, March 3, 2008, if it was not paid at the time of registration. School fees and September tuition are due by June 1, 2008.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Admissions Criteria
No preference is given to prospective families who visit earlier vs. those who visit later. All new applicants who have taken a school tour and turned in their registration before the end of the day on Friday, February 8, 2008, are considered equally.

Age Requirements
Please check age requirements of a class before registering. Some allowances are made.

Teacher Requests
No guarantees can be given on who your child's teacher will be for the coming school year.

Classmate Requests
We are unable to take classmate requests.
